The University of Wyoming Chapter is in their 3rd year and are working hard to "Build a Movement" in Laramie, and in Wyoming as a whole. Last year, the chapter raised over $7,000 for Face AIDS by holding a World AIDS Day event and a series of events during AIDS Awareness Week, in which Brenda Freiberg, a long time AIDS Activist living in Los Angeles came to be our keynote speaker. We also teamed with Wyoming AIDS Walk to put on a very successful event which raised over $15,000 for people living with AIDS in Wyoming. $1,000 was also donated to Face AIDS and Partners in Health. At the end of the year, the Face AIDS chapter was one of four organizations on campus to win an award, the RSO of the Year Award, which came with a $500.00 prize!

This year, we are hoping our 3nd annual WAD Event and AIDS Awareness Week is just as successful as our first and second. With our chapter doubled in size, we are truly Building A Movement on Wyoming's campus. The newest members of Face AIDS have found themselves truly inspired by the cause, and are dedicated to keep the fire burning for years to come!
