ABEDO Association, located in Eastern Province near the lush Akagera River Valley that separates Rwanda from Tanzania, has 69 members, the vast majority of whom are affected or infected by HIV.

Results: ABEDO members invested their savings in livestock projects, including rotating goat projects and collective cassava farming. The profits of the project have been used to support children of the members with their secondary school fees. ABEDO's members are currently organizing a rotating savings and credit fund to support the development of small businesses.
