Ride Against AIDS

About the Ride:

The Ride Against AIDS is a unique, powerful cross-country bike ride dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the FACE AIDS movement to fight HIV/AIDS. 100% of funds raised go to Partners In Health and FACE AIDS' operations in Rwanda to provide health care and socio-economic support to HIV-affected individuals. The Ride began in 2007, when two students biked to raise $10,000 to support AIDS treatment and comprehensive health care in Rwanda. In 2009, two students biked and raised $22,000! In 2010, seven students from three universities raised over $40,000! In addition to fundraising, riders speak with community groups, camps, Rotary Clubs, schools, FACE AIDS chapters, and individuals across the country about FACE AIDS' cause and work, inspiring people to take action against the AIDS pandemic.
