My name is Mike, and I grew up in small town, in central Wyoming, called Lander. I came to the University of Wyoming 3 years ago, and am pursuing a degree in Sociology and a degree in Criminal Justice. I am involved in the Greek Community on the UW campus by being a part of FarmHouse Fraternity.
I have been involved with the UW chapter of FACE AIDS for about a year now. It really peaked my interest when I saw that it was a very active group, with a good reputation, and was focused on social justice. I especially like that it is a student run organization that works closely with Partner's in Health. I foresee this ride being a rewarding experience personally as well as something that can positively influence many people affected by HIV/AIDS in Rwanda.
I look forward to the ride and the positive influence in, not only my life, but other's lives it will bring.
