FACE AIDS is teaming up with the School Fees Program of Partners In Health Rwanda to raise $10,000 by October 15 to send youth to school in Rwanda. Each FACE AIDS chapter is sponsoring one student by raising the necessary $250 it costs to cover school expenses for a year.
In Rwanda, secondary school is not free. Students are expected to pay for their own tuition, books, uniforms, and school supplies. For these youth, education is a way to pull both themselves and their families out of poverty. Education is crucial to a pathway to a better life.
